Uganda NKG Bloom Silverback is the first Arabica release from the NKG Bloom Uganda initiative, grown by smallholder farmers in Bulambuli near Mt. Elgon. These producers, farming at elevations of 1,500–3,050 masl, deliver SL14, SL28, KP162, and KP423 cherries to the Bulambuli Washing Station — a modern facility built by Ibero in 2022. Coffees are carefully sorted and processed as either washed or natural: washed lots are pulped, fermented, washed, and dried on raised beds for 21–28 days, while naturals are dried in nearby Mbale under close supervision.
